The Lampang Pony Welfare Foundation (LPWF) is founded to improve the health and welfare of ponies and horses in Thailand as our primary goal. Thus the statement that “Ponies come first” signifies our stand.

To support the horse owners community to have the power in purchasing the horse food or equipments, including finding ways to generate the higher income for the horse owners.
Form the pilot area where the correct ways of raising the horses are shown, people should realize that if they raise their horses correctly, the horses will have good health, they will work better, and can be sold at the better price. So, they should see that the consequence of the good welfare for horses is the good welfare for the horse owners and their community.
Education on husbandry, nutrition, farriery, health care and preventative medicine. This is done through newsletters, seminars, group meetings and hands-on workshops.
LPWF is the only non-profit organization in Southeast Asia of which work is dedicated to ponies and horses and is led by an experienced veterinary team.
